Health is a vital contributor to a person’s ability to be functional, to be productive and to achieve success in their daily lives. Healthy persons in the community a key to eliminate poverty, improve society, and enhance national prosperity. Along with nutritious foods, good sanitation and infection control is equally important for a person to become healthy.
Acknowledging the fact, a group of people from diverse background established Change for Health Nepal to improve the healthy living of low and middle income communities of Nepal.
Change for Health Nepal is registered under the relative act of the Government of Nepal, District Administration Office Kathmandu and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC) as a non-profit making and non-governmental social organization. The aim of the organization is to put forward its effort for promotion of healthy living, good hygiene and sanitation.
Nepali delegation off to US
A delegation of Change for Health-Nepal (CFH-Nepal) left for the United States of America on Tuesday to participate in an interantional symposium being orgnaized by Recreation, Sports and Tourism Department of Illonnois University Urbana Champaign
The delegation will participate in the symposium entitled ‘Forming Partnerships and Linkages in Sports for Development and Peace: Considerations, Tensions, and Strategies’ on March 7 and 8.
CFH-Nepal’s Vice President Machhindra Acharya and Secretary Lokendra Acharya are in the delegation.
